The problem this solves

Pakistan has a large number of restaurant discount programs. HBL, Meezan, Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB, Standard Chartered, and others each run their own dining offers, with their own terms, restaurant lists, day restrictions, and discount caps. None of them publishes a cross-bank comparison, and no bank has a reason to tell you a competitor's card is better for your restaurants.

Most people end up with a dining card by accident: they take whatever their bank offered when they opened an account. They often overpay for a premium tier they don't need, or underuse a no-fee card that would have been fine. A quick search rarely turns up a comparison that accounts for your city, restaurants, and typical bill together.

To use it: Enter 3 to 5 restaurants you go to and your typical bill size. The tool then works out which card saves you the most after caps.

How it works in three steps

1
Set your inputs Select your city, add the restaurants you visit regularly, enter your typical bill size per outing, and pick your usual dining days.
2
The tool calculates For every card across all 21 banks, it applies the actual discount to your bill, caps it at the published maximum, and checks day and restaurant coverage. It recalculates each time you change an input.
3
You get a ranked shortlist Cards are ranked by Fit Score, which reflects how much you'd save at your restaurants, on your days, at your bill size. Click a card to see the breakdown by restaurant and its eligibility requirements.

Frequently asked questions

No. No bank or card issuer pays for placement on this site. Rankings are calculated from your inputs alone, so a card that ranks first does so because it saves you the most at your restaurants.
No. konsacard.pk only compares cards. Each card links to the bank's own application page, and we don't process applications or earn referral commissions.
Yes. The dataset covers both debit and credit cards. You can filter to one type with the Card Type filter or compare them side by side. Most Pakistani banks offer restaurant discounts on both, often with different caps and terms.
The dataset is updated manually when bank offer pages change. Pakistani banks revise their restaurant programs irregularly, sometimes monthly and sometimes not for a quarter. Confirm current terms with the bank or at the restaurant before acting on any offer.
The tool only covers restaurants in the banks' own published discount programs. If your favourite spot isn't listed, it may not have any bank partnerships right now. If it has deals we've missed, tell us through the contact page and we'll add it in the next data update.
Usually not. Most bank restaurant discount programs apply to dine-in and takeaway orders only. Food delivery apps run their own bank deals, which change often. The foodpanda deals in our bank offer feeds are listed under the Online category. Confirm the discount when you order.

Who built this

konsacard.pk was built by someone who got tired of manually cross-referencing bank offer pages before deciding where to eat in Karachi. What started as a personal spreadsheet for comparing HBL vs Meezan vs Bank Alfalah became this tool after it was clear the problem wasn't unique.

It's an independent project with no investors, bank sponsors, or referral revenue. The aim is a comparison that saves you from visiting 18 different bank websites to answer a simple question.
